Lovora

Overview
Quick verdict: 8.1/10, provisional. Lovora is built around a promise most companion platforms avoid making: nothing you buy ever renews. Every purchase, from a $3.99 day pass to a full year, is one payment for one fixed period, and the service keeps no payment method on file to charge again. Add a privacy design that never asks for your name, your ID or your card number, and unlimited chat on every plan, and it is one of the most consumer-friendly setups we have reviewed. Two things temper that: today's prices are a launch offer that ends on December 31, 2026, and the video feature is a few seconds of animation for a large share of your monthly credits.
Every purchase ends on its own
Most platforms in this category sell a subscription and leave the cancelling to you. Lovora sells passes: 24 hours, one month, three months or twelve months, each paid once and each simply running out at the end. There is no stored card, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to forget. When a pass ends, paid features stop, while your conversations and the photos you received stay in the account.
It is a small structural choice with a large effect. The usual worry with a companion app, being charged for months you stopped using, does not exist here.
A service designed to hold little about you
The same logic runs through its data handling. Lovora has no field for your legal name, phone number or address, does not ask for an identity document, never receives card details, and turns IP addresses into a country code or a keyed hash on the way in instead of storing them. What it does not collect, it cannot lose.
Documents first, hands-on later
I have not paid for a Lovora pass, so this review does not describe sessions I did not have. It is built from Lovora's own documentation, which is unusually detailed: a complete price list, separate pages on calls, photos and videos, free access, payments and data, several of them updated in the last week of September 2026, some with response times measured on the live system. Where a figure appears below, it is Lovora's figure. For the wider field, our ranking of the best AI girlfriend sites and the list of every platform we cover are the places to compare, and our guide to AI girlfriend sites explains how the categories differ.
Core Features
Unlimited chat, metered everything else
Messages never cost credits on any plan, the day pass included. The only ceiling is a fair-use limit of 500 messages a day per account, which Lovora says exists to stop automated scripts rather than people. Everything beyond text draws from a credit balance: a photo costs 12 credits, a variant of a photo 8, a voice note 1, a minute of voice calling 25 and a video 150. Each plan also includes three custom companions a month, with further ones at 40 credits. If you want the background on why platforms split chat from generation this way, our explainer on how AI girlfriend credit systems work covers it.
One face per companion
Each realistic companion has a locked facial identity taken from her profile photo and applied to every image generated of her, and a companion you design yourself is fixed by her first portrait. The practical result is that the photos you receive show the same woman each time rather than a different face per request, which addresses a frequent weak point of image features in this category. Photos arrive in portrait format, usually in under a minute, and a request that fails to generate is not charged. Our pictures ranking compares the platforms where photos matter most.
Push-to-talk calls, with the delay stated
Voice calls work like a walkie-talkie: you hold to speak, release, and she answers aloud. Lovora publishes how long that takes, measured on its production system in September 2026: under a second to transcribe you, about a second to write her reply and about three seconds to produce her voice in English, so she starts speaking four to five seconds after you stop. Her answers in a call are kept to a sentence or two on purpose, and every exchange is written into the chat history, so a call and the text conversation share one memory.
At 25 credits a minute, a month's 500 credits buy about 20 minutes of calling, a similar budget to the monthly call allowance noted in our Ourdream.ai review. Platforms that treat voice as the main event are in our voice chat ranking.
Video: a few seconds for 150 credits
This is the feature to understand before paying. A Lovora video is a short animated clip of the companion, a few seconds long, generated from a still image, and it takes several minutes to arrive. It costs 150 credits, so a month's allowance covers three of them with a handful of photos left over. That is a different proposition from platforms such as Cuties AI, where short videos can be requested at any point in the scene as part of the premium tier.
Eight languages, three at full strength
Lovora works in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic, and its own documentation grades its voices by language rather than claiming they are all equal: quality is described as excellent in English, Italian and German, understandable with occasional mispronunciations in Arabic and less natural in Spanish. There are 24 synthetic voices in total, and when you design a companion you can listen to samples of 20 of them before choosing.
A wizard with two art styles
The creation wizard starts with a choice between realistic and anime, then covers ethnicity, age, body type, hair, eyes, personality, relationship role and voice. Three designs a month come with any plan, and a free account can complete one design before paying. Memory works on the same companion across sessions: Lovora keeps the conversation and a set of durable facts distilled from it, so she can recall your name, your preferences and what you discussed, a mechanism our explainer on how AI girlfriend memory works describes in general terms.
User Experience
Twenty-five messages before any signup data
The free tier is defined unusually precisely, and Lovora states that every limit on its free access page is the limit the software applies, not a promotional maximum. Without an account, after confirming your age, you get 5 messages across all companions, with no email, password or payment details asked for. A free account, created with an email or a Google login, adds 20 more messages, 2 voice notes and one companion design, and the first five messages carry over into it.
The same model, not a lite version
One detail matters more than the message count. According to the same page, free replies come from the same model paying users get, rather than a smaller or slower one. That makes the free tier a fair sample of the conversation quality, which is not something most rivals can say, and it means 25 messages are enough to judge whether the writing suits you before spending anything.
Photos you can see only in outline
When a companion offers a photo to a free account, it arrives blurred, and the blur is applied on the server to the file itself, so the full image never reaches an account that has not paid. Up to eight of these previews are shown. It is an honest way to demonstrate the feature without giving it away, and a useful signal of how Lovora approaches enforcement in general.
Everything runs in the browser on phone or computer, with no app to install, which carries the trade-offs our comparison of AI girlfriend apps and websites describes. The microphone is requested only when you start a call, and only for its duration.
Pricing
Four passes, no subscription
Every Lovora plan unlocks the same features. They differ only in how long they last and how many credits they include. These are the US dollar prices from Lovora's plans and credits page, last updated on September 29, 2026, with both the launch price and the list price it reverts to.
| Pass | Launch price | List price | Credits | Cost per credit at launch |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 24 hours | $3.99 | $3.99 | 150 | $0.027 |
| 1 month | $8.99 | $18.99 | 500 a month | $0.018 |
| 3 months | $22.99 (about $7.66 a month) | $36.60 | 500 a month | about $0.015 |
| 12 months | $53.88 (about $4.49 a month) | $71.88 | 500 a month | about $0.009 |
The day pass is the oddity, and Lovora is open about it: it is priced as a taste and is deliberately the most expensive way to buy credits. It also means every feature can be tried for a single evening without committing to a month.
What the 76 percent badge compares
The pricing page labels the twelve-month pass "Save 76%". That figure compares its monthly equivalent, $4.49, with the list price of a single month, $18.99. Against its own list price of $71.88 a year, the launch discount on the twelve-month pass is 25 percent. On the one-month pass the launch discount is a genuine 53 percent. Neither number is hidden, since the plans page shows both prices, but the badge is the most flattering comparison available.
December 31 is the date to know
The launch prices apply to purchases made until December 31, 2026, in UTC. After that the list prices take over, which puts a month at $18.99. A pass bought at the launch price keeps its full length even if it runs past that date, so a twelve-month pass bought in December locks in the lower rate for a year. The day pass and the top-up packs are not discounted and do not change.
What 500 credits stretch to
Lovora's own example: a month's 500 credits cover about 40 photos, or about 20 minutes of calls, or three videos with a few photos left, in any mix. Monthly credits refill at the start of each month of the pass and do not accumulate, so unused credits are replaced rather than added to. Top-up packs run from 250 credits for $4.99 to 10,000 plus 2,000 bonus credits for $99.99, are spent after the monthly allowance, and stay usable while a pass is active and for 60 days after it ends. Compare that with the 100-token monthly pool on AIGirlfriends.ai.
Paying without the name on your statement
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay go through a payment provider's own checkout, so card details never reach Lovora. Two other routes need no card at all. Telegram Stars are bought inside the Telegram app and converted at 50 Stars per dollar, about 200 Stars for the day pass, and the statement shows a purchase of Stars from Apple, Google or Telegram with no mention of Lovora. Cryptocurrency, including BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC, goes through a gateway Lovora runs itself and leaves no bank entry of any kind.
Final sale, with automatic credit returns
The terms treat all sales as final and unused credits as non-refundable. In practice the passes soften that, since you never pay for a period you did not choose. Credits are only deducted when a feature is delivered: if a photo or video fails to generate, nothing is charged and any reserved amount is returned automatically, and a request refused by the content rules is not charged either.
Privacy & Security
No ID, no legal name, no card number
Lovora's page on accounts and data lists what it never asks for, and the list is longer than usual: no legal name, since a display name is whatever you type; no identity document, since age is confirmed by your own declaration at sign-up rather than an upload; no phone number; no address; and no card details, which never reach the service at all. The account holds an email address, a display name, the record of your age confirmation and acceptance of the policies, your conversations with the memory distilled from them, your generated media and your usage and credit balance.
IP addresses that are never kept
Raw IP addresses are converted during the request into a country code or a keyed hash, and the original is not stored. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days for security and analytics for up to 14 months. Your voice in a call is used only to transcribe what you said: the transcript joins the chat, the recording itself is not stored, and voice is processed on servers operated for Lovora rather than passed to a third-party voice assistant.
Deletion that removes the files
Account deletion is self-service and immediate, with no ticket and no reason required. It erases the profile, every conversation together with the memory built from it, the generated images and videos as actual files rather than just links to them, the companions you created and your credits and purchase records, immediately in the live databases and completely within 30 days. If you simply stop using the service, nothing is removed automatically, so deletion is the action to take if you want the data gone.
Two records that outlive the account
Two categories survive deletion and neither contains conversations or media: records of blocked attempts to generate prohibited content, kept as abuse evidence so that a pattern cannot be wiped by opening a new account, and transaction records, kept for ten years under Italian tax law.
An operator without a name
The weak point is identity. None of the documents I read names the company behind Lovora: the privacy policy calls the data controller simply the operator of Lovora, with info@lovora.ai as its contact, and the terms place disputes before the courts of Italy. For a platform this careful about its users' data, publishing its own legal name and address would be the obvious next step, and until it does, that is a question worth sending to the contact address before buying a long pass. The platform is for users 18 and over, and its content rules ban depictions of real, identifiable people and are enforced before and after generation, with a human review route for anyone whose account is restricted.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Nothing ever renews: every purchase is one payment for one fixed period, and no payment method is stored
- Unlimited chat on every plan, including the 24-hour pass, with replies from the same model on the free tier
- Collects almost nothing: no ID, no legal name, no phone, no card numbers and no raw IP addresses
- Locked facial identity keeps the same face in every photo of a companion
- Telegram Stars and cryptocurrency keep the Lovora name off bank statements entirely
Cons
- Launch prices end on December 31, 2026, after which a month costs $18.99
- A video is a few seconds of animation for 150 credits, so a month buys about three
- Voice calls are push-to-talk, with four to five seconds before each reply and short answers by design
- The documents never name the company that operates the service
- All sales are final, and monthly credits do not roll over
Our Verdict
How it bills against the platforms we cover
| Platform | How access is sold | What happens after the first period |
|---|---|---|
| Lovora | Fixed passes from 24 hours to 12 months | Nothing; the pass ends and no payment method is stored |
| AI Allure | Monthly and longer plans | No auto-renewal, as stated at checkout |
| AIGirlfriends.ai | Monthly, quarterly and annual plans | Introductory price ends; the monthly plan renews at $20.00 |
| MyBabes AI | Monthly or three-month subscription | Continues until you cancel |
On billing, only AI Allure comes close, and Lovora goes further: no stored payment method, a day pass for trying it, and two ways to pay that keep its name off any bank statement. It is a setup that respects the reader's wallet in a way the category rarely does.
Who should buy a pass
Someone who wants unlimited conversation with a consistent companion, occasional photos with the same face each time, and some voice calling, and who values not being charged again without deciding to be. The day pass is the obvious way in, and the twelve-month pass bought before December 31 is the cheapest per credit by a wide margin. If memory is your deciding factor, compare it with Nomi AI and our memory ranking before committing to a long pass.
Who will feel the limits
Anyone who wants video. Three clips of a few seconds a month is a thin allowance, and topping up at 150 credits a clip adds up quickly. Heavy callers will also hit the ceiling: 20 minutes a month at 4 to 5 seconds per reply is enough for a few conversations, not a nightly habit. And anyone uneasy about paying a company that does not publish its own name should ask for it first. Our guide to choosing an AI girlfriend app lists the other questions worth settling before you pay.
Rating: 8.1, and the date that could change it
8.1 out of 10, provisional. It earns that on the no-renewal model, on data handling that collects almost nothing, and on documentation that states response times and voice quality by language instead of hiding them. It loses ground on video value, on the push-to-talk delay, on an operator that stays anonymous, and on launch prices that end on December 31, 2026. After that date a month costs $18.99, and the value case will need rechecking, as will the score once it has been tested hands-on.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Every purchase, from the 24-hour pass to the 12-month pass, is a single payment for a fixed period. Lovora stores no payment method, so there is nothing to cancel; access to paid features simply ends when the pass runs out, and your conversations stay in the account.
The launch prices end and the list prices apply: $18.99 for one month, $36.60 for three months and $71.88 for twelve. A pass bought at the launch price keeps its full length even if it runs past that date. The 24-hour pass and top-up packs are not discounted and do not change.
It compares the yearly pass's monthly equivalent of $4.49 with the one-month list price of $18.99. Against the yearly pass's own list price of $71.88, the launch discount is 25 percent. The one-month pass carries a 53 percent launch discount.
A few seconds. Videos are short animated clips generated from a still image of the companion, take several minutes to arrive and cost 150 credits each, so a month's 500 credits cover about three.
They are push-to-talk: you hold to speak, release, and she answers aloud, usually four to five seconds after you stop according to Lovora's own measurements. Calls cost 25 credits a minute, charged on the seconds actually spoken, so 500 credits cover about 20 minutes.
No. Age is confirmed by your own declaration at sign-up, and Lovora has no field for an identity document, a legal name, a phone number or an address.
It depends on how you pay. Card payments go through a payment provider. Telegram Stars show up as a purchase of Stars from Apple, Google or Telegram, without the Lovora name. Cryptocurrency leaves no bank statement entry at all.
Five messages without an account and twenty more with a free one, two voice notes, blurred previews of photos a companion offers and one companion design. Free replies come from the same model paying users get.
